Abstract
We present a novel fiber inflationary scenario in Type IIB string compactifications, where a fiber modulus drives inflation via a scalar potential dominated by logarithmic corrections from string loops. Different from the BHP-conjectured loop correction, which are tied to D-brane/O-plane system, our correction derived from field-theoretic dimensional reduction, lift the fiber moduli by introducing a distinctive log enhanced term in the potential. The novel loop correction terms create a flat potential region, enabling slow-roll inflation, consistented with current CMB data. Our results highlights how logarithmic quantum effects shape viable inflation models and give parameters control of various quantum corrections in the light of swampland conjecture.
