Abstract
I will review some recent results on supersymmetric dualities for SU(N) gauge theories with symmetric and antisymmetric tensors in 4,3 and 2 dimensions. Various tools are used to derive such dualities, like tensor deconfinement, localization and dimensional reduction. After a review of such tools I will survey the dualities and comment on their universal behavior across dimensions.
Speaker
Antonio Amariti completed his PhD in 2009 at Milano-Bicocca under the supervision of Prof. Luciano Girardello, mostly working on dynamical supersymmetry breaking in metastable vacua. Then he has been postdoctoral researcher at UCSD San Diego (from 2009 to 2012), ENS Paris (2012-2015), City College of New York (2015-2016) and AEC Bern (2016-2017). His research interests focused on supersymmetric dualities, their brane description and their relation with localization. He also worked on AdS/CFT and holographic application. He became INFN staff researcher in 2017 in Milan, and starting from 2020 he is senior researcher there.
