Abstract
We examine a hypersurface model for the classical dynamics of spinning black holes. Under specific geometric constraints, it reveals an intriguing solution resembling the Kerr Black three-point amplitude expectations. We explore various generalizations of this formalism and outline potential avenues for analyzing spinning black hole mergers.
Speaker
Gang Chen completed his PhD at Nanjing University and worked as a junior faculty member there. He then moved to Uppsala University, Queen Mary University of London as a postdoctoral researcher. In 2022, he joined the Niels Bohr Institute and was employed as an assistant professor starting in 2023. Currently, he works on scattering amplitudes, gravitational waves, and high-spin field theories. His research focuses on the kinematic algebra and the double-copy in various theories, with applications to gravitational-wave physics and black-hole physics.
