Abstract  

In this talk, we are going to talk about the holographic dual of AdS black holes in large N. We shall discuss what we should do to give characteristics of black holes in the dual supersymmetric Yang-Mills operator while considering operators heavy enough to give new geometries. We shall also comment on the entropy of AdS black holes and the spectral problem through the dilatation operator.

Speaker

Prof. Minkyoo Kim received his Ph.D. from Sogang University in 2013 and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Wigner Research Center in Budapest, APCTP in Pohang, and Witwatersrand University in Johannesburg. His research interests include AdS/CFT, integrability, black holes and giant gravitons.
