Abstract

We investigate the Loschmidt echo and quantum geometry potential (QGP) in an Ising chain subjected to a slowly rotating transverse field and a small longitudinal field. The amplitude of the rotating field is fixed to match the quantum critical point of the transverse-field Ising chain. With the presence of the small perturbation longitudinal field, at every instantaneous moment, the system's physics can be organized according to the quantum E8 integrable field theory. Surprisingly, we find that despite the system's inherently many-body nature, the QGP can be simply connected to a scattering channel involving only two E8 particles. Furthermore, we demonstrate that the QGP can induce profound dynamical transitions, manifesting as shifts in the spectral distribution of the Loschmidt echo upon tuning the field. Our work reveals the telltale quantum geometry features of a non-equilibrium quantum Ising chain, potentially inspiring future studies on the quantum geometry in non-equilibrium quantum many-body systems.
