Abstract
GK-dimension is a measure of the rate of growth of the algebra in terms of any generating set. In this talk, we will give a brief introduction of Gelfand-Kirillov dimension and recall some related results. Then some lower bounds of GK-dimension of Hopf algebras are given. We also give some recent work and question on the study of Hopf algebras with finite GK-dimension.

王顶国,曲阜师范大学数学科学学院教授、博士生导师。主持和参与国家自然科学基金、山东省自然科学基金、教育部留学回国基金和山东省研究生教育创新计划等项目多项。长期从事Hopf代数结构、分类和非交换代数等方面的研究,先后在《Trans. Amer. Math.Soc.》、《J. Algebra》、《J. Pure Appl. Algebra》、《Israel J. Math.》等国际著名期刊发表论文80余篇。曾获第六届山东省青年科技奖。
