报告摘要：
In this talk we review a well-known conjecture due to Hopf and Chern, and explain its solution in the Kahler case due to Gromov via the notion of Kahler hyperbolicity. Then we shall report our recent work around Kahler hyperbolic manifolds.
报告人介绍：
李平，同济大学数学科学学院教授,博士生导师，国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金获得者，主持三项国家自然科学基金。2009年毕业于北京大学，获理学博士学位，研究方向为流形的拓扑学。先后在Trans. AMS., Adv. Math., Math. Z., J. Geom. Phy.等相关数学学术期刊上发表SCI论文二十余篇。
