报告题目:The conservative S-DDM schemes for multicomponent contamination flow and optimal pollution control

报告摘要:

Since the non-overlapping domain decomposition methods have the advantages in the computational and communicational costs in parallel computing, some explicit/implicit non-overlaping domain decomposition methods have been developed in solving time dependent PDEs. However, these methods break the important physical law of mass conservation over the whole domain. In this talk, I will first present our recent development and analysis of the conservative splitting domain decomposition methods for parabolic equations and for convection diffusion equations. I will then present numerical simulations of the multicomponent contamination flows in porous media by the developed methods. I will also present our results on optimal control to the groundwater environmental pollution.


报告人介绍:

梁栋,加拿大约克大学终身正教授, 计算数学、环境和能源数值模拟专家。在数值分析与科学计算、多孔介质渗流力学计算方法、计算电磁学、大气环境计算、风能计算、和计算生物等研究领域取得了许多创造性成果。在国际权威学术杂志J. Comput. Phys., SIAM J. Numer. Anal., Numer. Math., SIAM J. Sci. Comput., IMA J. Numer. Anal., IMA J. Appl. Math., J. Aero. Sci., Atoms. Environ., J. Sci. Comput.等学术期刊发表论文110余篇近年来,承担加拿大国家自然科学基金NSERC项目多项,承担加拿大MITACS项目和中国“973”大气环境项目课题。2012获加拿大NSERCDAS奖励
