Abstract

Numerical bootstrap methods explore positivity constraints that arise from fundamental physical principles. Exploiting stronger constraints, and thus exploring more interesting physics, often requires advanced algorithms. In this talk, I will discuss the reconstruction program for 2d unitary rational CFTs. A key step is the “character level realizability problem”: given modular data, how to find all possible partition function solutions. We invented specialized bootstrap algorithms to solve the problem.

苏宁，现为清华大学丘成桐数学科学中心助理教授。2008年于南开大学获本科学位，2016年于美国德州农工大学获博士学位，其后曾在中科院理论所、瑞士洛桑联邦理工学院、意大利比萨大学、美国加州理工学院、美国麻省理工学院等地从事博士后研究工作。其研究领域包括自举方法，人工智能，共形场论，散射矩阵。
