The Second Joint Summer School on Theoretical High-Energy Physics
(Beijing 2026)
The 2nd Joint Summer School on Theoretical High-Energy Physics is a continuation of two series of summer schools hosted by the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Sciences and School of Quantum of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing (2021 in Liyang, 2023 in Shanghai, and 2024 in Beijing) and by the Shing-Tung Yau Center and School of Physics of Southeast University (2020 online, 2021 online, 2023 in Nanjing, and 2024 in Nanjing). Since 2025 in Hangzhou, we have merged these two series and will hold the summer school annually in China.
For 2026, the summer school will be co-hosted by the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Southeast University at the UCAS Zhongguancun Campus in Beijing, from August 16th to 28th, 2026. The goal of this series of summer schools is to expose students and postdocs in China to the frontiers in theoretical high-energy physics and introduce to them to the basic research techniques in various subfields. To cover both the basics and the cutting-edge research in various subfields, the summer school will have a few mini-lectures and invited research talks.

The participants' list will be announced after the registration. The organizeres will select 20 students to be financed, while other participants shall be responsible for the travel and accommodation expenses on their own.
“第二届高能理论物理联合暑期学校”是中国科学院大学卡弗里理论科学研究所与量子学院暑期学校（2021溧阳, 2023上海及2024北京）和东南大学丘成桐中心与物理学院暑期学校（2020线上, 2021线上, 2023南京及2024南京）的延续。2025年夏天，这两个系列暑期学校合并形成“第一届高能理论物理联合暑期学校（2025杭州）”，在国科大杭州高等研究院成功举办。高能理论物理联合暑期学校将于每年夏天在中国举办。
今年，“第二届高能理论物理联合暑期学校”由中国科学院大学与东南大学联合主办，将于2026年8月16日至28日在北京中国科学院大学中关村校区举办。该系列暑期学校旨在让中国学生及博士后接触高能理论物理前沿领域，向他们教授相关子领域的基础研究技术。

报名结束后，主办方将最终确定且公布参会人员名单，并从中遴选20名学生予以差旅费用支持。其他参会人员的往返交通和当地住宿费用需自理。
