Abstract

I will introduce the supercharge Q-cohomology in holographic quantum field theories, and a classification of cohomology classes into monotone and fortuitous. I will discuss the holographic interpretation of this classification, focusing on the example of N=4 SYM. Finally, I will discuss the behavior of the classical Q-cohomology under S-duality, which reveals the potential quantum corrections to the cohomology.

Speaker

Chi-Ming Chang is currently associate professor in YMSC, Tsinghua University and BIMSA. He obtained his Ph.D at Harvard University in 2014, under the supervision of Xi Yin. He joined YMSC of Tsinghua University as assistant professor in 2019. His research interests are Quantum Field Theory, String Theory and Quantum Gravity.
